EXCAP STORY

How it works

Excap FBT: Enhanced Full-Body Tracking for VR Games and Beyond

Excap FBT delivers accurate and effective body and limb tracking for VR gaming and various applications. It leverages high-quality inertial measurement units (IMUs) and a 2.4G receiver for stable connections, eliminating the technical challenges of WiFi firewalls.

With Excap, you won’t need wires or base stations. An external camera mounted on the front of your headset automates tracker positioning and calibration, ensuring your full-body tracking remains perfectly aligned with your headset’s orientation. Plus, tracking errors are virtually nonexistent, even over extended periods of use.

You can choose in your FBT from 3 modes:
1. IMU Mode
2. IMU + Magnetometer Mode
3. IMU + Optical Mode

Enjoy smoother, more reliable tracking—designed to elevate your immersive experience.

Why EXCAP

Revolutionizing FBT with Excap Vision!

Introducing Excap Vision—a revolutionary innovation in motion capture! Our optical-inertial fusion system eliminates the impact of magnetic interference and accumulated inertial drift

Traditional IMU-based FBT systems often suffer from issues like magnetic interference or horizontal rotation (yaw) drift after just minutes of use. On the other hand, camera-based trackers relying on base stations restrict users to specific environments.

Excap Vision changes the game by handing over calibration tasks to the camera. Simply stand straight, click a button to activate Excap Vision, and let the visual system take care of the rest. Even during extended motion capture sessions, there’s no need for recalibration.

MINI but with ULTRA-LONG battery Life

We’ve meticulously engineered the structure of our FBT trackers to deliver exceptional performance. Each 25g mini-sized tracker is lightweight yet powerful, offering up to 50 hours of battery life. This ensures extended usage without compromising comfort or functionality—perfect for immersive, uninterrupted motion capture experiences.

Enhanced Immersion with Built-in Vibration Feedback

Each Excap FBT tracker is equipped with a built-in vibration feedback unit, adding a new layer of interactivity to your experience. This feature provides real-time haptic feedback, ensuring greater immersion and responsiveness during motion capture and VR sessions.

Programable RGB for decoration and camera tracking

Excap FBT trackers come with Programable RGB, They are not only for decoration but also for the camera tracking system.

Compatible with Multiple Platforms

Excap offers broad compatibility with a wide range of platforms, ensuring seamless integration into various VR experiences, including:

  • PC games and applications such as VRChat, NeosVR, and Blade & Sorcery.
  • Streaming VR applications, allowing you to use an avatar for live broadcasts.
  • VTubing via OSC or Tracking World, delivering smooth motion for virtual performers.
  • SteamVR games, expanding your gaming possibilities.

Whether it’s gaming, streaming, or virtual performance, Excap is designed to fit effortlessly into your digital world.
