How to Use Fingerprint Encryption
Getting Started with Twopan Nano SSD – Fingerprint Setup Guide
- First Use: Twopan Nano SSD arrives in open access mode — meaning any fingerprint can unlock it. To enable protection, simply unlock it and register your first fingerprint. This activates fingerprint security from that moment on.
- How to Register a Fingerprint: After unlocking, gently tap your finger on the sensor six times, adjusting the angle each time. Once the green light stays solid, your fingerprint is saved successfully. You can store up to 20 unique fingerprints.
- Unlocking Your SSD: To access your files, place a registered finger on the sensor: Green light means unlocked, Red light means the fingerprint wasn’t recognized
- Adding More Fingerprints: Want to register more fingerprints or share access? Just unlock the device and repeat the same six-tap process for each new finger.
- Factory Reset: To erase all saved fingerprints and restore the SSD to default mode:
Unlock the device, then hold your finger on the sensor for 5 seconds. Wait for the purple light, keep holding until it switches to red — your reset is complete.
