CycleClick: Pro-Level Power Meter, 30 Sec Tool-Free Install

See your effort. Track your progress. A clip-on power meter with pro-level data, quick bike-to-bike swaps, and app/device sync.
Check on Kickstarter

Most power meters today are overpriced or overcomplicated.
They cost too much. They take too long to install. And once they’re on, they’re stuck on: locked to one bike and one setup.

Crank, pedal, and hub-based meters need tools, calibration, and constant compromise.
That’s why we created CycleClick with real rider input: listening to the frustrations cyclists face with today’s options. So we built a solution that gives you reliable power data without the high cost, complicated setup, or single-bike limitations.

It clips onto your chain in 30 seconds and swaps between bikes without tools or compatibility checks.
You get pro-level cycling data you can trust on every ride.

CycleClick clips onto your chain in under 30 seconds.
There’s no need to remove components or mess with your drivetrain.
Mount the base, click it onto the chain, and you’re ready to ride.

Switching between bikes? Takes less time than filling a water bottle․

CycleClick introduces a new way to measure power.

It takes measurements directly from the chain, which is the highway transferring your leg power into bike speed. It’s accurate, yet brilliantly simple.

CycleClick is designed to let the chain’s rollers glide smoothly through the device. The measuring channel does not contact the chain’s side plates. The only points of contact are the chain rollers. That rolling motion keeps friction low, so your ride stays quiet and virtually drag-free.

You won’t notice it’s there… until you check your stats.

CycleClick works with any chain-driven bike: road, gravel, or mountain.
Unlike crank or pedal power meters, there’s no need to fuss with cleat compatibility, spend half an hour reinstalling, or deal with calibration.

With CycleClick, switching between bikes takes seconds and requires no tools.
Ride and take your data with you!

*CycleClick is not compatible with SRAM Flattop chains.

When it comes to cycling data, precision starts at the source.
CycleClick captures your effort measuring power with ±1% accuracy thanks to:

  • Full bridge strain gauges that detect the slightest flex in the chain tension in your chain
  • Built-in chain speed sensor that tracks chain speed via a chain roller
  • Advanced algorithms that deliver real-time power in watts

Result? The same data pro riders use!

Heat or cold don’t throw CycleClick off.
Most sensors drift when temperatures change. Heat can cause expansion. Cold can cause contraction. Even tiny shifts can throw off your numbers.

CycleClick is built with temperature compensation, meaning it automatically adjusts for temperature changes in real time.

Riding in early morning chill or summer heat? The sensors stay calibrated, and your data stays dialed in.
Because it’s not just about collecting data: it’s about trusting it.

At the core of CycleClick is a precisely engineered metal channel that your chain runs through. As the rollers move, they roll along internal ridges, causing subtle flex based on chain tension.
Strain gauges detect this deflection with high precision, turning it into real-time measurements of power, cadence, torque, balance, and more.

A built-in chain speed sensor tracks chain speed, while onboard algorithms calculate accurate power output, all with ±1% accuracy, in any weather condition.

Power is calculated using a simple but fundamental equation:
Power = Torque × Chain Speed.

CycleClick measures both in real time, right from your chain.
Torque is measured through strain gauges attached to a flexible metal channel. As the chain rollers pass through and apply force, the channel flexes, and the sensors detect that deflection in real time.

Cadence is calculated by tracking chain speed and pedal position over time, allowing CycleClick to determine stroke rate with precision.

With an additional external sensor, CycleClick tracks your left/right power balance, showing exactly how much each leg is contributing to your overall output. Spot imbalances and adjust your technique.

*The additional external sensor is required for this feature and available as an add-on during the campaign.

*This is an experimental feature in development and it will be delivered after the devices have been shipped, via an over-the-air (OTA) update.

CycleClick estimates calorie burn based on real power data, not just heart rate, for a more precise view of your effort.

It starts with your watt output, measured in real time. From there, it calculates total work in kilojoules. Because mechanical work (in kJ) correlates closely with metabolic cost, this gives a far more accurate estimate of calories burned than smartwatches or fitness trackers.

CycleClick uses Bluetooth Low Energy 5.0+ to pair quickly and reliably with your apps and devices.

It pairs with up to 3 devices simultaneously, including your favorite cycling computers and training apps like Zwift, TrainingPeaks, and the BikeOnIQ app.

With the BikeOnIQ app, you get your full ride data in one place, all at your fingertips, ready to review anytime.

Rain, dust, mud, CycleClick is built to handle it all.
Its sensors and electronics are fully sealed in epoxy and protected by an IP67-rated waterproof housing.

Powering through muddy switchbacks or riding in pouring rain? CycleClick keeps up, no matter how wild the adventure.

At only 40g (1.41 oz), CycleClick stays light and out of the way.

Its compact design was developed in the USA with quality and comfort in mind.

CycleClick is built for all kinds of riders and all kinds of rides.
Out on the road, grinding gravel, or training indoors? CycleClick has you covered!
Use it on real-world climbs, weekend cruises, or daily commutes.

Or clip it to your indoor trainer bike and turn a basic setup into a power-tracking machine.
If your bike has a chain, CycleClick is ready to ride, wherever the ride takes you

CycleClick gets better over time.
With over-the-air updates, new features and improvements will be delivered straight to your device.
With more features coming up, OTA ensures your CycleClick stays up to date, and keeps getting smarter with every firmware release.

Nothing manual: just open the app, update and ride!

At BikeOn, we believe cycling should be more than just transport or exercise. It should be a data-driven experience that inspires confidence and freedom.
We started with a simple philosophy: break down barriers by merging cutting-edge innovation with ease of use.

Our first product was a conversion kit that electrifies any bike in seconds. While improving it, we reimagined its chain sensor and saw an opportunity.
What if the chain could do more than just move the bike?
What if it could provide data on your effort?

The result became CycleClick: the chain-mounted power meter that delivers pro-level insights without the setup hassle or high cost.
At BikeOn, we build smart drivetrains, sensors, and tech that help riders train better, ride further, and enjoy the journey more, with less to worry about and more to improve on.
