mo-jet® dingi
The brand new member of the mo-jet® bow module family
Fill the gap
Where there was nothing before
So far, there have only been large, heavy tender boats, as well as smaller, lighter, already electrically powered tenders — however, they lack the versatility and performance needed for truly diverse uses and sporty driving fun. Our mo-jet motor unit, which can be mounted onto a dingi in no time at all, solves this problem.
Onboard a yacht, the mo-jet dinghy requires very little storage space and, thanks to its flat bottom, it can be placed on lifting platforms more easily than conventional tender boats. With just a few simple steps, the bow section can be swapped out for a bodyboard or surfboard front section, for example, allowing you to instantly experience a completely different use.
The mo-jet dingi can also be transported, along with all accessories, in a regular mid-size car and can easily be carried from the vehicle to the water without any additional equipment.
Whether it’s a supply run to pick up drinks and ice for the yacht, a relaxing solo escape on the water, or a high-speed ride carving sharp turns — the mo-jet dingi can do it all.
Figures and facts:
- mo-jet® dingi inflated 180 cm long, 140 cm wide, and 58 cm high
- High-quality Hyperloon tube, white and black.
- 68 kg ready to ride, including mo-jet® power unit.
dingi: mounted on the motor-unit
explained in short:
The video shows how the drive unit can be inserted into and removed from the dingi. The video is for illustrative purposes only and does not show the mo-jet dinghy in its small form.
All of the mo-jet’s power comes from the electric waterjet drive in the rear module which makes it quiet and clean. With over 100 kilograms of thrust, it delivers 14 kilowatts of power at peak (meeting the driver’s license requirement of 11 kW), and the jet drive can be easily removed for the easiest possible maintenance. Two batteries provide enough electrical energy to keep you powererd for at least 25 minutes and up to 60 minutes, depending on your riding style, the rider’s weight and the choice of front module. Each battery weighs only 8.5 kilograms, so both batteries can be carried comfortably by one person.

All the modules you can see on this campaign have been built and tested by us. At this stage we have functional prototypes of all the modules we are planning to sell, including the ones listed under the Future Modules section.
Our products are being developed towards series production. During this process design and key technical specifications can still be subject to change.
Success story
We already sell established products such as the mo-jet body, surf, etc. all over the world. Together with long-standing dealer partners such as E-SURFER, we serve our customers and spread fun on and in the water. The mo-jet dingi is now set to ride this wave too.
Risks and challenges
We have spent a lot of time and energy correcting mistakes, refining the design, and optimizing the technology to bring you a great product. However, various risks and challenges always remain. Below you will find everything briefly. Manufacturing: We rely on various specialized tools to manufacture our boards. Adjustments can also be made in the area of tools needed for manufacturing. We calculate enough time to make various changes to avoid a delivery bottleneck and guarantee on-time delivery. In order to shorten the general delivery time, our hulls are manufactured in Germany using a rotary process. Product customizations: Our prototypes have been in use since 2019. This gave us the opportunity to consolidate our customizations and the suggestions of our experienced manufacturing partners. We have been working with our partner companies that manufacture the nozzle drives and motors in Germany for years. Despite all the preparations and checks, it can always happen that a fault occurs on a particular part. For this reason, we test every product extensively before delivery to avoid later returns. Product adjustments will also take place in the future to guarantee you a perfect driving experience. We will undoubtedly always keep you up to date Fulfillment: We face daily challenges such as missed supplier deadlines, a machine needed for production breaks down, or a shipment is lost. In addition, material supply shortages can occur at any time. Regulatory risks can also arise. Especially in Germany, local regulations for electrically powered jet boards are confusing. This may result in various rules and regulations being tightened. Risks arising from exchange rates, customs duties or other monetary events are not relevant for us. This is because the components are sorted immediately after the end of the Kickstarter campaign. Prices are locked in until 2025. Final word: We want to establish a great product that is fun and reliable for customers. To make this possible, we ask everyone to make a small contribution. Financial support or sharing our site would bring us one step closer to our goal. We are happy about any help. The entire mo-jet team thanks you in advance.
