The American Dental Association (ADA) recommends brushing your teeth twice a day and using dental floss once daily to maintain optimal oral health. Practicing proper oral hygiene helps you keep your teeth and gums healthy, ensuring lasting comfort and greater confidence in your daily life.
Between the teeth and beneath the gumline are areas that are difficult to reach with a toothbrush, creating hidden spaces where plaque can build up. To prevent this, we use dental floss. However, traditional dental floss and floss holders often come with several challenges and inconveniences.
The disposable plastic waste generated by traditional string floss and single-use flossers has become a serious environmental concern. While easy-to-use flossing products may benefit individuals in the short term, they contribute to long-term environmental pollution. We set out to find a practical solution to this problem and to make a positive impact through our actions.
Completely eliminating the daily use of disposable products is challenging. Therefore, we decided to create a solution that is much more sustainable and reusable. By producing durable, high-quality products while minimizing disposable waste, we developed Flosser Y.

The carefully angled Y-shaped head and long neck of Flosser Y effectively remove plaque and food debris from between teeth, making it an essential tool for maintaining optimal oral health.
Flosser Y features an internal cartridge structure with its own built-in floss. By pressing the one-touch button to open the lever, you can easily and quickly replace the floss. The inside of the lever includes a cutter blade, so there is no danger of cutting your fingers.
If you have ever used a floss holder, you might have experienced the floss breaking or loosening during plaque removal. To effectively care plaque, the floss must be securely held in place.
Flosser Y features a toothed lever design that firmly grips the floss, using leverage to press and secure the floss tightly. This strong fixation ensures the floss stays in place without slipping during any movement (up, down, or sideways) allowing for close contact with teeth for effective plaque care.
The top priority in designing Flosser Y was user comfort. We carefully designed its head to be the most stable size to reach even the deepest back molars. The tip of the head that touches the gums is curved to ensure a comfortable experience inside the mouth.
The smooth curves of the head and neck are designed to seamlessly connect with the handle. Additionally, the thickness, texture, and material of the handle were repeatedly tested to ensure no unnecessary force is required during flossing, providing an optimal user experience.
The entire product features flowing curves, creating a streamlined shape designed to offer the smoothest and most comfortable feel in the users’ hand.
Flosser Y is designed with a flat-bottomed, stable structure that allows it to stand securely on slippery countertops or shelves. The key to effective oral care is frequency, whenever you think of it, and wherever it’s visible you must take care of yourself. By being placed in a noticeable spot, it encourages easy and quick use, making flossing a natural part of your daily routine.
Have you ever found it inconvenient to carry a floss holder and floss separately? Flosser Y eliminates this hassle by allowing you to store up to two floss cartridges securely inside the handle, making it convenient and easy to carry.
Thanks to the storage slot design with a sliding cover that opens and closes easily, you can instantly replace the floss cartridge with a spare once the current one is used up, ensuring continuous oral care without interruption.
One floss cartridge (3g) included as a basic component is equivalent to 150 disposable flossers (200g). This design minimizes plastic consumption while providing effective dental care with a minimal amount of floss.
We offer not only traditional floss but also eco-friendly bamboo charcoal floss, providing a wider range of options for consumers who prioritize sustainability. However, due to the natural properties of bamboo charcoal floss, it it only available in a thicker, reinforced 720D type for greater durability.
If your teeth are tightly spaced, choose 420D (Nylon). For normal spacing, go with 500D (PTFE). If you have wider gaps, select 720D (Bamboo Charcoal). Choosing the right floss for your teeth is the key to complete oral care.
