Powered by a premium sensor, DIG:IT detects what others miss. When the pinpointer touches the surface, it can locate metals buried up to 7.9 inches(20cm) deep, when detecting a regular coin. For larger objects or those with a higher metal concentration, DIG:IT can detect targets even up to 1.4 feet(43cm) beneath the ground. DIG:IT senses your lucky find and alerts you the moment treasure is within reach.
There are times when you may want to lower the sensitivity on purpose, such as when searching for delicate items or metals with very high density. In these cases, DIG:IT gives you a manual control as well. You can easily adjust the sensitivity across three levels-Low, Medium, High– to match your specific needs and preferences. Choose the level that fits your hunt and detect with precision your way.
You might be wondering, how does DIG:IT tell you how close the metal is? Great question. DIG:IT features a 5-Level Real-Time Detection Indicator that shows how near you are to your target.
As you move closer, the beeping speeds up and the vibration grows stronger, giving you instant feedback that guides you right to the find. This way, you can always know exactly how close the target is, preventing accidental damage to valuable treasures while digging them out of the ground.
The built-in Mini-LCD Display allows you see how close you are to your target through the real-time detection indicator.
