Endurance swimmer and lifelong wild swimmer. Sami has completed some of the world’s most demanding open-water swims — including the English Channel, Lake Zurich, the Strait of Gibraltar, and Robben Island.
After thousands of hours in cold water, on rocky shorelines, and in wet kit, he built Wildpool to solve the footwear problems he kept running into: slow-drying shoes, sore joints, and gear that didn’t last — or look right — once the swim was over. Wildpool was designed so you can finish the swim and carry on with your day, without changing shoes.
