Most red light therapy devices on the market use LED technology, which distributes light energy across a broad surface area. As the energy spreads, less intensity is concentrated on a specific target area.
Laser technology takes a more precise approach by concentrating light energy into a targeted area. AuraMacaron’s focused laser delivery helps ensure a sufficient dose of energy reaches the intended zone for an effective and efficient light therapy.
Different wavelengths reach different depths. AuraMacaron issues two wavelengths at the same time – 650nm red light to target areas closer to the skin, and 850nm near-infrared to reach deeper muscle areas. Together, they provide a more complete light therapy solution.

Each AuraMacaron pod delivers 18 – 20 sessions per charge. With two pods, you can treat two areas at the same time throughout every session. When the battery runs low, simply recharge via USB-C – each pod reaches a full charge in about 1 hour.
Since its debut in our hometown Taiwan, we’ve continued refining AuraMacaron through ongoing testing and feedback. For Kickstarter backers, we’re introducing several upgrades designed to make AuraMacaron more flexible, more personalized, and easier to fit into everyday routines.
1. Upgraded Light Configuration
The original AuraMacaron featured two identical pods, each with two 650 nm diodes and one 850 nm diode. We’ve now redesigned the two pods with different light configurations: one combines 650 nm + 850 nm, while the other features three 850 nm diodes. This gives you more flexibility to target areas experiencing different levels of muscle stress at the same time.
2. Two Light Intensity Levels
We’ve also added two intensity settings in the Focus Pod for greater control. Choose Gentle Pulse Mode for a lighter session or CW (continuous wave) Mode when you want a more intensive session. Simply select the level that best suits your needs.
3. New Color
We believe an everyday device should look as good as it fits into your routine. Apart from the original Blue color, we’re also introducing a new Green version for our Kickstarter community.
