Forged by Hand: A Real Damascus Steel Blade Built to Outlast You
Every great blade starts the same way — as raw steel, fire, and patience. Ours started with a simple frustration: too many knives marketed as "Damascus" today are laser-etched imitations, mass-produced in factories that have never seen a forge fire. We wanted to bring back the real thing.
This project is our answer — a genuine, hand-forged Damascus steel blade, made the way it's been made for centuries: layer by layer, hammer strike by hammer strike, in a traditional workshop by a blacksmith who has spent years mastering the craft

What Makes This Blade Real Damascus
Not all "Damascus" is created equal. Ours is built from approximately 150 forged layers, combining two carefully chosen steels:
• 15N20 — a nickel-rich steel that brings toughness and that signature bright contrast to the pattern
• 1070/1075 or O2 carbon steel — high-carbon steel that gives the edge
its hardness and long-lasting sharpness
These layers aren't printed or etched on. They're folded and hammer-welded together by hand, then etched to reveal the natural wood-grain pattern that forms deep within the steel itself. No two blades will ever look exactly alike — each one carries the fingerprint of the forging process.
Built for Use, Not Just Display
This is a working knife first, a piece of art second (though it excels at both).
• ~30 cm overall length with a ~4 mm spine — enough presence and weight for demanding outdoor and hunting tasks, without becoming unwieldy
• Full tang construction — the steel runs the entire length of the handle, giving the blade real structural strength for chopping, batoning, and hard use in the field
• Hand-forged edge geometry shaped and finished entirely by hand, not machine-ground to a generic factory profile

A Handle Worthy of the Blade
The handle is handcrafted from walnut and Micarta, layered together to create rich, contrasting tones that highlight the natural warmth of the wood against the industrial durability of the Micarta.
Every handle is shaped, sanded, and finished individually — treated as a small piece of functional art rather than an interchangeable part.
Protected the Right Way
Each blade ships with a genuine leather sheath, custom fitted to the knife and hand-finished to match the character of the piece. It's built to protect the edge and travel with the knife for years, developing its own patina and story over time.
