Moss Hexa: Modular Moss Panels for Any Space

It quickly becomes your favorite spot in the room.

A modular moss system crafted with 100% real moss.
Designed to bring natural texture, soft ambient light, and calm into your everyday space, with far less day-to-day care than traditional houseplants.

Most of us spend our days indoors.
But the spaces around us often stay the same.

We upgrade our desks, our lighting, and our furniture, yet something can still feel flat, static, or unfinished.

Moss Hexa changes that.

Real moss panels that you can add, swap, and rearrange anytime, turning a blank space into a living design that's always yours to reshape.

It's more than decoration. It's a space that keeps evolving with you.

You shouldn't have to choose between plants that need constant care, moss walls that require professional installation, or decor that only imitates nature.

Moss Hexa offers a different approach: real moss texture, a modular system that grows and changes with your space, and a natural presence you can make your own.

✨ Meet Moss Hexa

Not something you place in your space.
Something that becomes part of it.

Designed to bring the feeling of nature into modern spaces, Moss Hexa is crafted with 100% real moss, bringing authentic texture and natural depth indoors.

Arrange it, connect it, and expand it into a modular moss system that's uniquely yours.

With rich depth and a naturally three-dimensional texture, Moss Hexa brings the authentic surface of real moss into your space, adding warmth, organic beauty, and character to any environment.

This texture does more than look good. It's how moss thrives.

Without roots, moss absorbs the moisture and nutrients it needs directly through its surface.
It's the same quiet, resilient system behind Moss Air and Moss Echo, now part of Moss Hexa.

Naturally drought-tolerant, it retains its color and organic texture even between mistings.

Moss Hexa doesn't just change how your space looks.
It changes how it feels.

Real moss. Modular design. Soft ambient light.
Every element works together to create a space that feels naturally yours.

The hexagonal design gives you complete freedom to create a layout that's uniquely yours. Add, swap, and rearrange each panel anytime, with no fixed pattern to follow.

Start with a small feature area or expand into a larger statement piece.
As your layout changes, your space evolves with it.
Each panel connects seamlessly, creating a clean layout without awkward gaps.

More than decoration, Moss Hexa is a modular moss system that lets you shape your space to fit the way you live.

Crafted with 100% real moss, Moss Hexa brings authentic texture, lasting color, and natural warmth into your home.

Compared with traditional houseplants, Moss Hexa requires far less day-to-day attention. Its naturally drought-tolerant moss needs no direct sunlight and only occasional light misting to stay at its best. It gives you the presence of nature, with far less daily care.

Moss Hexa is designed to adapt to spaces of every size, from a simple 3-panel feature to larger arrangements that bring depth and presence to an entire room.

Basic, Light, and Wood modules all use the same mounting system, so you can swap them anytime to create the right balance, texture, and character for your space.

Create a calming retreat.
Design a natural focal point.
Or transform your entire space.

Moss Hexa gives you the freedom to design your space now, and the flexibility to keep evolving it over time.

Moss Hexa brings more than visual texture to a space. Its real moss surface also provides sound-absorbing properties across mid-to-high frequencies.

In independent testing by KCL under KS F 2805, a Moss Echo installation using the same real moss material reached a sound absorption coefficient of up to 0.65 at 5,000 Hz.

These results demonstrate the sound-absorbing properties of the real moss material used across our Moss product line, including Moss Hexa.

🪴 Basic, Light & Wood

Moss Hexa is built around three modular elements — Basic, Light, and Wood.
Each one brings a different layer to your space.

BASIC brings the natural texture of 100% real moss.
LIGHT adds a soft ambient glow that transforms the mood of your space.
WOOD brings warmth, contrast, and rhythm to the layout.

Use each module on its own, or combine them freely. All three share the same mounting system, so you can mix, match, and swap them anytime to create a moss arrangement with greater depth, balance, and personality.

📐 Choose Your Layout

Most spaces stop changing once they're finished.
Moss Hexa doesn't.

Create the arrangement your space deserves, from a focused corner to a balanced feature area, or a room-spanning layout that carries through the whole space.

Add more panels. Shift the layout. Try a new combination. Build a completely different atmosphere, without starting over.

Because your space shouldn't stay fixed in place.
It should grow, shift, and change with the way you live.

There’s something satisfying about building it with your own hands.

Piece by piece, your arrangement comes together.
Panel by panel, your space begins to transform.

Something you've built. Adjusted. Made your own.

🧲 Easy Installation

Designed to be simple from the very beginning.

Powered by our HexaLock™ magnetic mounting system, each panel snaps into place with a single click—no complicated measuring, no specialist tools, and no installation experience needed.

Setup takes minutes. Rearranging takes seconds.

Moss Hexa is made to be built, adjusted, and enjoyed, so updating your space never feels like a project.

Attach the mounting guide to your chosen surface.
Screws or adhesive, both mounting options are included.

Alignment is built into the system.

The mounting guide positions each panel exactly where it belongs, making it easy to create a clean, balanced layout.

Magnetic panels click into place with HexaLock™.

A simple snap completes the setup, making it just as easy to rearrange your layout, or swap in a different panel whenever you like.

Mount it once. Shape it your way.

📣 Light Panel Update: USB-C Power Connection

Moss Hexa is designed for more than a single arrangement.

Choose the scale that fits the atmosphere you want to create, then expand, rearrange, or reshape it as your space changes.

Start with a focused 3-panel feature, grow into a balanced 9-panel arrangement, or go all in with the Signature Styling set, a curated 15-piece mix of Basic, Light, and Wood panels that transforms the entire space. Every configuration offers a new way to experience Moss Hexa.

Every arrangement creates a different atmosphere.

Choose a layout that fits your space today, then adapt it as your style and needs evolve.

Add panels.
Change the balance.
Shift the direction.
Create a new composition whenever your space calls for something different.

One layout can become many.

When Light panels are added to your layout, the experience changes once again, bringing a new layer of atmosphere to your space.

💡 Lighting & App

Available with Moss Hexa Light

Light doesn’t just make Moss Hexa visible.

It reveals the depth, color, and texture of the 100% real moss, bringing a softer, warmer, and more balanced feeling to your space.

With built-in ambient lighting, Moss Hexa brings out the natural details of the moss and creates a calmer atmosphere from day to night.

During the day, the light adds a subtle radiance that blends naturally into your interior.
After dark, everything turns warmer, softer, and more immersive.

The light changes. So does the room.

And it happens on its own.
Moss Hexa senses the ambient light around it and adjusts its brightness automatically, brightening as the room grows darker and dimming as the room gets brighter.

No switches to flip. No settings to remember.
Just a space that quietly shifts with you, from morning to night.

Prefer more control?
Adjust the color and brightness, or create your own lighting schedule.

Made to set the mood in your space.
Light does more than brighten a room. It changes how a space feels.

It's not just about turning lights on or off.
It's about setting the tone you want.

The Moss Hexa app is still in development for both iOS and Android. An initial iOS version is already available on the App Store, while the Android version has not yet been released. We’re continuing to refine the app’s features and interface on both platforms.

🏡 Real Spaces & Reviews

Designed for the places where people actually live, work, rest, and gather.
See how Moss Hexa transforms real spaces, and how people felt after bringing it in.

But before the reviews, before the design—there was a simpler story.

🌿 Why Moss

Moss has existed for over 450 million years.

No roots.
No flowers.
No soil in the way most plants require.

Just quiet resilience.

In nature, moss softens bare surfaces, brings color to unexpected places, and thrives where many other plants cannot.

It doesn’t demand attention.
It simply belongs.

Moss isn’t just resilient.
It has a persistent way of spreading, adapting, and becoming part of the surface around it.

That feeling became the starting point for Moss Hexa.

But Bringing That Kind of Nature Indoors Has Never Been Simple.

Humidity.
Airflow.
Light.
Daily care.

Most indoor spaces were never designed for nature to truly thrive.
Traditional plants need routines.
Artificial greenery lacks the depth and texture of the real thing.
Large moss walls require planning, installation, and long-term commitment.

Yet what people are looking for is simple.

A space that feels softer. Calmer.
More connected to nature.

So We Asked a Simple Question:

How do you bring the feeling of real moss indoors—without asking people to change the way they live?

We focused on what makes moss feel so special:
its texture,
its color,
its depth,
and its calm presence.

Then we reimagined it as a modular system designed for modern spaces.

Naturally drought-tolerant. No direct sunlight required. Simple, occasional care.

Just 100% real moss, shaped into a modular system that brings a quiet sense of nature into your everyday space.

Hexagonal patterns appear throughout nature, from honeycombs to cellular structures. Their geometry connects efficiently, repeats naturally, and expands with minimal wasted space.

For Moss Hexa, that natural geometry became the foundation of our modular system.

Each hexagon connects seamlessly to the next.

No awkward gaps.
No forced patterns.
No single fixed layout.

Just a continuous structure that can expand in different directions and adapt to your space.

More than a geometric shape, the hexagon gives Moss Hexa its rhythm.

It creates balance.
It allows expansion.
It helps every arrangement feel natural, whether you build a focused feature or grow it into a larger composition.

🔬 Testing & Our Team

Across our crowdfunding campaigns worldwide, we’ve received support from over 6,600 backers and raised more than $1 million. Our Moss Air and Moss Echo campaigns were both selected as Kickstarter Projects We Love. Now, we’re bringing that experience to Moss Hexa, our third Kickstarter project.

Moss Air also earned a CES Innovation Award, an iF Design Award, and an IDEA Design Award (Bronze) — three of the design world's most respected honors. We were also selected for Samsung C&T's FutureScape Open Innovation Program, and in 2025, the only international startup chosen among five for Panasonic's Electric Works accelerator program.

But none of that is really why we do this.

We've spent years exploring one question:
How do we bring nature more seamlessly into modern spaces?

As cities grow denser and people spend more time indoors, most spaces still feel static, cold, and disconnected from nature.
We believed nature shouldn’t feel distant from everyday life.

So we turned our attention to one of nature's most resilient living systems:
Moss.

Not as decoration, but as a way to change how a space feels.

That journey led to Moss Hexa.

For project builds and bulk purchases

Moss Hexa has been developed through material processing, modular panel engineering, lighting integration, and durability testing.

Each part of the system has been thoughtfully designed for reliable, long-term indoor use.

Real moss processing

Modular panel engineering

Lighting & sensor integration

Durability and quality testing

Tested at real-room scale—Moss Hexa takes the structure even further.

Sound absorption performance was independently measured by KCL, a KOLAS-accredited laboratory recognized under the international ILAC-MRA framework, using a Moss Echo panel installation covering nearly 11 m²—approximately 300 individual moss panels—to replicate the scale of a real room wall.

The test recorded sound absorption of 27% at common speech frequencies, increasing to 56% at frequencies associated with keyboard typing and up to 65% at higher frequencies associated with background chatter.

These results demonstrate the sound-absorbing properties of the real moss material used across our Moss product line, including Moss Hexa.

We’ve prepared Moss Hexa for safe packing, global shipping, and Kickstarter fulfillment.

Each reward is carefully packed with protective materials to help ensure it arrives safely and securely, ready to install.
