More than a century ago, Lord Percival Grimwold, an explorer and self-styled “antiquarian of the arcane”, returned from Egypt with a strange artifact. A five-wheeled cryptex etched in symbols no scholar could decipher.
Weeks later, the entire Grimwold family vanished. No letters. No struggle. Just silence.
The manor’s halls crumbled to ruin. Yet, on certain nights, lights still flicker through the broken windows. Whispers drift through the trees. No one who’s entered since has returned.
Some say the cryptex remains hidden within the puzzle’s walls. Its secret? To grant immortality, not through myth, but through mechanism.
Legends whisper that the manor hides more than meets the eye. Somewhere within its walls lies a secret cryptex, cursed and locked tight, waiting for the one clever and brave enough to uncover its code.
Hidden clues are scattered across the puzzle itself and within The Weathered Scroll, printed on the reverse of one of your posters. Piece them together, decipher the riddle, and you may discover the key that unlocks the cryptex online.
Step inside the creaking halls of Grimwold Manor, where the candles flicker, mysteries whisper through the walls, and every room has a tale to tell. These peculiar residents aren’t here to scare you… well, not too much. They’re here to make you laugh, puzzle, and marvel as you piece together their bizarre world.
In the dusty attic, an explorer wrestles with an ancient riddle, trying to decode the cursed cryptex as a cheeky cat tugs at the mummy’s bandages. Down the hall, Count Fangula is keeping his smile in top condition, because even vampires know that good dental hygiene never dies.
In the secret laboratory behind a hidden bookcase, Dr. Frankenstein and Igor are a little spark-happy trying to animate their monster, because science is best done with a bit of lightning right below a flooded bathroom; what could go wrong?
Outside, under the eerie glow of a full moon, a lone wolf howls, while outside the mansion, a zombie shuffles past “Ben Better’s” gravestone, proving even the undead have a sense of humor.
And if you listen closely, you’ll catch the haunting rhythm of the Ghoulish Grooves Band, pounding out monster beats that’ll raise more than just spirits.

Brazilian illustrator Giulia Calistro transforms imagination into worlds you can wander. Each window of Grimwold Manor, each vine, each tiny pumpkin is painted with hidden stories waiting to be found.
She is known for transforming themes and ideas into tiny, captivating worlds that invite you to wander and find little stories hidden in plain sight. She started painting with both her grandmas and is happy to keep the love of art going in the family. Off the canvas, you’ll find her grabbing a nice cup of coffee (and tea!), playing board games and sharing home-cooked meals and good times with family and friends.
