We love linen for how it feels — light, breathable, effortlessly cool in a way no other natural fiber quite manages. And yet most of us have a linen shirt buried at the back of the closet, worn twice and retired, because the reality of owning it never matched the promise on the label.

To achieve the optimal balance of wrinkle resistance, odor suppression, and thermoregulation, the ideal blend ratio is 70% TENCEL™ Lyocell and 30% European Flax Linen.

Why 70% TENCEL™: European flax linen is prone to sharp, deep creasing because its flax fibers lack elasticity. TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers have a supple, flexible structure with smooth micro-drape.
At 70% TENCEL™, the fabric recovers from creasing far more effectively. It replaces linen’s harsh "accordion wrinkles" with soft, natural waves that drop out easily when steamed or hung up.
2. Odor Control: Longer Wear without Wash
How it works: Odor-causing bacteria thrive on moisture pooling on the surface of skin or synthetic fibers.
The synergy: TENCEL™ absorbs moisture directly into its microscopic nanofibrils, keeping the skin's surface dry. Meanwhile, European Flax acts as a fast-evaporating engine. The technology: Chitosan is a naturally derived biopolymer, sourced from crustacean shell byproducts. Its molecular structure carries positively charged amino groups that interact with the cell membranes of odor-causing bacteria, disrupting their ability to metabolize and multiply on the fabric surface.
Why it's different: Synthetic antimicrobial coatings sit on top of a fiber and degrade with every wash. Chitosan forms weak ionic bonds directly with the cellulose in our linen-Tencel matrix — it integrates into the fiber surface rather than just coating it.
