“As children, we built worlds with building blocks. As adults, we define our tools through modularity.” Our inspiration stems from the transformative art of modular toys and mechanical mechas. Traditional pocket tools lock your choices the moment you buy them. We wanted to shatter that limitation by injecting a building-block-style freedom into a precision-engineered EDC folder. Replacing the blade and handle or any main section on a folding tool shouldn’t feel like tedious maintenance—it should feel like swapping a precision cartridge, satisfyingly tactile with a crisp mechanical “click.”

Three Blade-heads
For this very fisrt run, we made three different blade-heads, the Boher M390 Steel Everyday Blade-head features a reverse-tanto shape and works as a standard folding knife blade; the Boher M390 Mini Blade-head is a tiny compact blade profile built for ultra-precise light cutting. Its small footprint excels at detail trimming and delicate EDC tasks. The SK-5 steel Utility Blade-head adopts a utility razor / box-cutter geometry, engineered for slicing cardboard, tape, fabric and general heavy-duty utility cutting work.
All three blade-heads are fully interchangeable on your MODULUS frame with tool-free swapping. Swap blade heads in seconds to match your task, no screws or tools required.
EVERYDAY BLADE
Modulus prioritizes uncompromised cutting performance alongside serious mechanical flair. Precision milled contours and prominent pivot hardware bring raw industrial aesthetics, paired with a firm, reassuring lock-up that clicks solidly into place on deployment. Black finish offers a sleek, understated look for everyday carry, while silver lays bare every detail of its machining; regardless of color choice, blade rigidity and edge retention never change.
MINI BLADE
This compact mini modular blade is built for quick, on-the-go small-task scenarios. It inherits the same smooth flick-open action and reliable locking structure of the whole system. Ultra-portable and space-saving, it perfectly handles tiny daily repairs and fine cutting work.
We stuffed tons of satisfying mechanical character into this small-format multi-tool. Crisp angles, visible hardware, and that satisfying tactile operation you expect from quality EDC gear. Whether you prefer the understated look of black, or love how silver highlights every precise machined line across the handle, performance stays identical across both variants.
Or, you can also just keep the middle handle segment solely attached on the Mini-blade head. Compact enough to disappear in your pocket, but tough enough to handle all your day-to-day little jobs. Too many tiny multi-tools feel flimsy or exist only for photos — this one is built to perform out in the real world.
UTILITY BLADE
This modular utility cutter blade excels at daily unpacking, trimming and light-duty precision cutting jobs. It retains the same robust frame, smooth flick deployment and secure locking mechanism of the modular system. Compact and practical, it turns your pocket gear into a handy workhorse for household and workshop tasks.
Forget flimsy disposable box cutters — Modulus utility cutter brings high-grade machined build quality to everyday cutting chores. Instead of aggressive geometry, it features a practical straight cutting profile optimized for unpacking, crafts and workshop trimming. Matte black keeps it low-key on your desk, silver gives it a distinct tool-gear vibe; both share the same secure anti-retraction lock and simple quick-swap blade system.
Thin and unobtrusive enough to slip into backpacks, tool pouches or jacket pockets. Most small utility cutters feel cheap, wobbly and need frequent full-tool replacement. Here you only swap out the blade insert, keeping the robust core frame for long-term daily use.
