ProClad: A Hybrid 2.0 Nonstick Pan

Written by

Sears Like Stainless. Slides Like Nonstick. A Pan That Finally Gives You Both. No More Choosing. Half The Price Of Celebrity-Clad.

Meet the ProClad Hybrid 2.0 Nonstick, a fully clad hybrid pan with raised stainless steel ridges and TitaniumShield™ ceramic surface built for real heat, real use, and years of everyday cooking.

We’ve thrown out our share too. Three pans in three years is not unusual. It’s normal. Cheap pans wear out. Premium pans cost a fortune. And even expensive hybrid pans still scratch, dull, or disappoint over time. So people keep buying the same pan again.

We got tired of it.

So instead of adding more marketing claims, we focused on the parts that actually fail: taller stainless steel ridges to protect the coating, a sealed rim to prevent corrosion and sharp exposed edges, a solid handle that stays secure in wet hands, Lab-tested PFAS-free nonstick, and colors designed to look good in a real kitchen

The Solution

Five real layers. Built for even  heat, longer durability, better searing, and easier everyday cooking. Some brands make their pans sound more advanced by counting layers most people will never noticeProClad keeps it simple: every layer has a real job.

No PFAS. No PFOA. No PTFE. No lead. No cadmium. TÜV Rheinland, an independent testing lab, confirmed the coating is safe for food contact and free of these chemicals.

The raised stainless steel ridges take the abuse from utensils, spatulas, and everyday cooking. The nonstick coating sits slightly lower, so utensils glide across the steel instead of scraping directly across the coating. That is why ProClad is designed to last longer than a standard nonstick pan.

3 mm of fully clad aluminum core creating more even heat across the cooking surface. No hot spots. No guessing.

Machined flat to within 0.1mm. Sits steady on glass, gas, electric, and induction. Year one and year ten.

Cream, slate, or terracotta. A finish built for daily use, not just shelf display.

Andrew Palermo from Prudent Reviews has tested dozens of pans and consistently calls out rounded handles because they can rotate or slip in wet handsProClad uses a stainless steel handle with a flatter top and finger groove, so it feels more stable when lifting, tilting, or pouring

Sear on the stove. Finish in the oven. Slide under the broiler if you want. The handle doesn’t melt. The rivets don’t loosen. The coating doesn’t blister. We tested every part at 900°F before signing off, because most “oven safe” claims in this category aren’t actually tested. Ours is.

Many clad pans leave the aluminum core exposed along the rim. Over time, repeated dishwasher cycles, soaking, and harsh detergents can corrode that exposed aluminum. In some cases, the rim can discolor, roughen, or even become sharp. ProClad seals the rim to protect the core, smooth the edge, and help the pan hold up over time. Most people never think about the rim until years later. We noticed it upfront.

Lifetime Guarantee — No Fine Print Pan warps? Handle breaks? Rim corrodes? Stainless body fails under normal use? We replace it for life. One honest note: nonstick coatings wear with use. Ours is built to last longer than most — but no brand can promise forever, and we won’t pretend otherwise. Full warranty details in our FAQ.

Stretch Goals

No plastic anywhere on this pan. The handle is stainless steel. The body is stainless steel and aluminum. The coating is ceramic-based and PFAS-free. ProClad is not disposable plastic cookware, and it is not designed to be thrown away after a few months. The pan body is built to last, and the coating is designed to last longer than standard nonstick with proper care.

Shipping will be charged  after the campaign. Using the pledge manager, you will be able to confirm your rewards, address, and choose any add-ons.
 * Prices do not include taxes and VAT. That will be subject to the laws and regulations of each individual country.
** Please note that these are estimates and the actual costs of shipping may vary slightly depending on the circumstances.

We build ProClad with a long-term manufacturing partner that handles the 3-ply body, TitaniumShield™ coating, and handle riveting under one roof.
Most premium cookware brands route pans through 3–4 distribution layers and sell them at a 4x retail markup. We cut every one of those layers out.

Half of real cooking happens with a lid on: steaming, braising, simmering, finishing. Glass lids fitted to each pan size so you can watch without lifting. Stainless rim, oven safe. Available as add-ons through BackerKit after the campaign closes.

Steep sides for tossing. Wide base for volume. Same 3mm clad construction, same TitaniumShield™ surface, same handle as the rest of the line. Built for the meals your frying pan can’t fit: stir-fry, noodles, fried rice, vegetables for a family of four.

ProClad is built by DKK Brands, a product team with nearly two decades of experience developing cookware and home products for brands around the world. We created ProClad because we were tired of seeing expensive pans overpromise and underdeliver. So we built the pan we wanted ourselves: honest premium cookware designed for real everyday cooking. We believe trust is earned through performance, not marketing.

At DKK Brands, we’ve spent years designing products people actually use every day. Before ProClad, our team launched 4 successful Kickstarter campaigns backed by more than 32,000 people worldwide. Across our brands, we’ve also earned more than 20,000 Amazon reviews with an average rating above 4.7 stars. ProClad exists because we believed cookware could be more honest: better performance, fewer compromises, and pricing that actually makes sense.

Don’t take our word for it. Here’s what backers said about our previous Kickstarter products — the Liiton whiskey glass campaigns that built the manufacturing and shipping experience behind ProClad:”
