Make Everyday Bread Moments Better

A Better Start to Your Morning
It’s a quiet morning.
You reach for a fresh loaf, still soft inside, slightly crisp on the outside.
You pick up a knife — and suddenly the moment changes.
Crumbs scatter across the table.
The bread gets squashed instead of sliced.
Butter tears the surface instead of spreading smoothly.
It’s a small frustration.
But it happens almost every day.

The Small Inconveniences We Accept

Bread is simple.
Preparing it shouldn’t feel difficult.
Yet many kitchen knives are not designed for everyday bread moments.
They are too large.
Too aggressive.
Or simply not versatile enough.
You may only need to slice a small roll.
Prepare a quick sandwich.
Cut fruit for breakfast.
Spread butter at the table.
Still, you reach for tools that feel oversized or inconvenient.
Over time, these tiny inconveniences quietly take away from the joy of simple meals.
A Knife Series Designed for Daily Bread Life

Introducing the Tsubame Bread Knife Series.
A compact collection of Japanese knives created to make everyday bread preparation easier, smoother, and more enjoyable.
Made in Tsubame-Sanjo, Niigata, one of Japan’s most respected metalworking regions, this series focuses on practical comfort and thoughtful design.
Not professional kitchen tools.
Not decorative showpieces.
Just beautifully made knives that naturally fit into daily life.
Why Three Knives?

Bread preparation is not one single action.
Sometimes you slice a baguette.
Sometimes you prepare a quick snack.
Sometimes you simply want to spread butter without switching tools.
That’s why the series includes three carefully designed knives.

Tsubame Bread Knife
The Tsubame Bread Knife is the full-length model, combining serrated and straight edges to create clean slices with fewer crumbs.
It handles crusty baguettes just as comfortably as soft sandwich loaves.

Tsubame Bread Knife Mini
The Tsubame Bread Knife Mini is shorter and lighter, making it ideal for small kitchens, quick prep, or even outdoor cooking.
It’s perfect for fruit, rolls, and compact tasks where control matters.

Tsubame Multi Butter Knife
The Tsubame Multi Butter Knife is the everyday companion.
With a micro-serrated edge and flexible tip, it can cut, scoop, and spread — from butter and jam to cheese or tomatoes.
Together, they form a simple system that adapts to real daily use
Rewards

Each knife features a stainless knife steel blade for durability and easy maintenance.
The handle is made from natural keyaki wood, known for its warm tone and comfortable grip.

Unlike synthetic materials, wood changes subtly over time.
It becomes familiar. Personal.
The texture feels gentle in the hand — whether you are slicing bread in the morning or preparing snacks in the evening.

What is New for Global
We refined it for how people around the world enjoy bread today.
1.Upgraded Durable Stainless Steel for Global Kitchens

For this international edition, we selected a durable stainless steel blade that offers:
- excellent rust resistance
- easy maintenance
- long-lasting sharpness
- compatibility with humid and diverse climates
Whether used in a city apartment, a family kitchen, or outdoor adventures, it is designed to stay reliable for everyday use.
2. Optimized for Western Bread Styles
Many Japanese bread knives are developed primarily for soft sandwich bread.

For this edition, we focused on a wider range of breads commonly enjoyed overseas:
- crusty artisan loaves
- sourdough
- baguettes
- bagels
- sandwich breads
The blade profile and edge geometry help create cleaner cuts with fewer crumbs.
