🔘 One-Press Blade Change
HOZO Hobby Knife ditches the old “righty-tighty, lefty-loosey” routine 😵💫. Just press the button to loosen the collet, swap your blade, and let go.
The collet snaps right back around the blade, locking it securely in place for your next cut.
But it’s more than just a faster blade change. We changed how the blade locks in. With a traditional twist-lock, you’re always trying to find that sweet spot. And somehow, the blade still loosens up anyway. 🤷
HOZO Hobby Knife skips the twist entirely. The one-press mechanism secures the blade directly—no overtightening. No guesswork. Just tight enough to stay put.

We also added two magnets inside the collet to catch the blade the moment it releases — so it doesn’t slip away when the collet opens. Can’t resist fidgeting with it? Go ahead. Your blade isn’t going anywhere.

Our blade story started with the six precision flat blades developed for the NeoBlade Ultrasonic Cutter. Over the past year, maker feedback has helped us refine these blades for better sharpness and durability.
Now, they’re part of the HOZO Hobby Knife system, too.

HOZO Hobby Knife also works with compatible 4 mm, 30° flat blades commonly available from other brands, as well as segments from standard 9 mm, 30° snap-off blades.
To take things further, we’re expanding the lineup with two gouges (also compatible with the ultrasonic cutter), plus a saw and a metal file.
The V-gouge lets you carve crisp lines and intricate details, while the U-gouge opens up smooth grooves and textured finishes.
When cutting and carving aren’t enough, the saw and metal file step in — tackling tougher materials, refining edges, and adding the finishing touches.

Made from quenched 420 stainless steel, HOZO blades resist rust without an oil coating. No oily residue to deal with, and one less thing to worry about when changing blades.
To add another layer of safety, we rounded the blade end to make handling more forgiving, especially when changing blades or simply picking one up.
And when a blade has done its job, we thought about that moment too.
The built-in disposal slot gives used blades a secure place to go, helping keep sharp edges safely out of reach after use.
