Development history of straighteners

Since the birth of the world’s first hair straightener in 1872, many females get the opportunity to change their look. They can easily handle it at home.

In the past 100 years, hair styling tools such as straighteners have also been continuously upgraded in technology and diversified in product updates.

However, people still have issues such as high-temperature injuries and hot hands when they are not proficient in controlling the temperature and time of the styling.
The hair will not only evaporate moisture under high temperatures but also cause irreversible damage to the hair. As a result, the hair will become forked, dry, and lackluster, leading to a hair loss crisis due to irritability.

We keenly observe that females are mostly troubled by the dryness and irritability of their hair after using straighteners. IG INGLAM adheres to the pursuit of beauty and the need to endow women with charm and has launched a new generation of hair straighteners named “Harmonica” Air Straightener.

We have fully considered the women’s pain points and calls for hair straightening, and the best way is to remove the heating plate used in traditional straighteners. Without the heating plate, it will not cause irreversible damage to the hair. At the same time, we adopt a linear air outlet design for ventilation, equipped with a high-speed brushless motor, to create a natural and straight hairstyle.

Based on the requirements of straight hair styling, we adopt a unique double arm design, combined with a sharp increase in wind speed, no tourmaline ceramic heating plate, and no thermal damage, from wet to dry, using directional airflow to comb and straighten hair, truly achieving blowing straight hair without damaging it, creating a natural straighten look.

The advantage of linear export lies in the sharp increase in wind pressure, which speeds the wind faster and reduces wind loss. Coupled with a high-speed 110,000RPM motor, the wind speed can reach 25m/s, allowing high-speed acceleration and drying hair instead of baking it.

What sets high-speed hair dryers apart from traditional ones is their motors. Tradition hair dryers use a brushed motor with high friction and low speed, operating at 10,000-20,000 RPM. Due to the low speed, they can only rely on high heat to dry your hair.

In contrast, high-speed hair dryers, like IG INGLAM, feature brushless motors, similar to maglev trains in hair dryers, with reduced friction and significantly higher speeds, reaching over 110,000 RPM, 8X faster than the traditional.

IG INGLAM upgraded its intelligent temperature control system IG-IQ. Superior to the leading brand’s 30  times/second, it monitors the airflow temperature 100 times/second and keeps the temperature difference within 41°F/5°C for each setting.

The high-speed hair dryer is equipped with an ion generator, which is not commonly found in traditional ones. It produces many negative ions. It neutralizes the positive charges on the hair, reducing static electricity and making your hair smoother, softer, and less prone to frizz and tangling.

The IG INGLAM “harmonica” hair straightener has three temperature and wind speed options to meet your picky choices. It also has a memory setting function, allowing you to turn it on as you please.

Full of details, a detachable grille cover (convenient for cleaning hair) and a built-in metal filter (for cleaning dust) can effectively prevent hair, dust inhalation, and damage to the motor.
